WALT

 WALT
We revived discussing WALT - we are learning to, at the beginning of the day. Ms. Chetna shared the learning outcomes planned for today. one of them was planned as a centers activity, the second one was an individual learning engagement and the third one was a whole class session. We had to do the whole class session together but for the first two, we could choose which we wanted to do first. It was a great experience because they had the opportunity to decide what they wanted and smaller groups enhanced the attention being given to each student.

Angles
Ms. Chetna explained how to draw and measure angles using a large protractor on the whiteboard. After the instruction time, we had to work in centres identifying the angles as right, acute, and obtuse angles.

Literature circle
Students who chose to do the literature study first, read the next chapter of their book and worked on the follow-up activity of their choice. Most of the students chose questioning today.

 Sustainable energy
We did a recap of what does sustainable means to students. We watched a video to understand the renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. It was easy for the students to connect with the renewable resources while they found non-renewable a little challenging. We will continue this discussion tomorrow.
