SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy
We had a recap of what are SDGs and connected our current unit with SDG 7. Students started with sharing examples of where and how do we use light and sound energy. A meaningful discussion happened on if all these are affordable by everyone. Next, we will discuss how can we reduce our consumption of these.
Portfolio
This year we are going to create a digital portfolio. Ms. Chetna shared a sample on google slides and all of us gave feedback and shared suggestions. She explained how can we choose what we want to display in our portfolio and shared steps to copy and paste our samples from Seesaw. We need to share reflections related to each sample. She will share our individual Google slides through email.
Maths Mela
Tomorrow we will celebrate World Maths Day. Ms. Chetna shared pictures from the previous years for us to have charity on how will it look like. This helped the students gain clarity on how to dress up for the parade.
Natural phenomenon - Rainbow
Rishaan was ready with his research. He shared his finding of how a rainbow is formed. We watched a video to understand it further. students wrote their new learning in their notebooks.
Passion project
Students have started sharing their research about the passion project. Vinddhya shared her research on trees and Ruhaan on Astroids.
Maths Journal
Ms.Chetna shared a puzzle for the students to solve. They had to share the process/ steps they followed to reach the solution. Students are gradually learning to apply their learning to solve the puzzles.
We started our discussion on lines rays and line segments using a slide show. This was taken further by discussing angles. Students learned what is an angle and how to measure an angle using a protractor. Ms. Laila shared an online protractor to us understand. Key things we learned were a straight angle, right angle, acute angle, an obtuse angle.

Hello! Rishaan loved the math class and is excited to learn about angles. He is also ready to share his research about origami with his classmates. Thank you so much!
