Systems

Morning meeting
Today's video was shared by Ms. Pushpalatha. She made us aware of many communities that she is a part of. She has supported a school for children coming from lower economic backgrounds, people suffering from cancer, etc. To raise funds for supporting these communities she organized various events like walkathons, a variety of sales, plantation drives, and so on. Students shared their thoughts on why are these communities significant for society by posting in the chat. They shared what do we gain by doing such actions by annotating the whiteboard.

Systems
We watched a read-aloud of the story The Magic Schoolbus: Waterworks. Students could identify the system mentioned n the story as the water purification system. Arjun shared his research about communication systems and Vinddhya shared about the transportation systems. Ms. Chetna encouraged them to research further on how these systems have changed over time. Were these changes beneficial or not. Next, Ms. Chtena prompted us to plan for our upcoming vacation. If we plan to visit a place, how will we go about it. We worked in breakout rooms to come up with a plan, where we identified the resources required and the problems we might face. This helped us realize that the banking system is another significant system that helps in the smooth functioning of a community.

Student-led session
Vinddhya initiated the session with fun riddles that she asked to puzzle her friends. Followed by Shivani sharing her research about 'space'. Kiarash helped us learn a new tool 'Prezi'. He shared his screen to show us the steps and how can we use different tools embedded in it.

Today we read independently to work on our pending assignments.
