Morning meeting 

We started our day by watching a video on a community supporting the orphans. Ms. Meena, our Hindi specialist is a part of one such community. She shared a video based on her interaction with these children. Students got to learn that why is this community important. 

 SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities

We read a story based on this. Ms. Chetna shared the link for the ones who wanted to read individually and she read aloud for the ones who wanted to read with her. We learned many new things through this story. After which students listed down the human actions which impact the world negatively. They are aware of many things which are affecting the earth. We shared the actions we want to take or stop to reduce the negative impact with our buddies in the breakout rooms.

Designing our classroom

After learning about maps, the day before yesterday, students drew a map of their classroom sharing how they would like to place different things for their comfort and ease of learning. We extended this discussion today by listing out the resources we want, to create a healthy and happy learning environment. Students shared their ideas by annotating the whiteboard. 

Money

Today's learning outcome was to be able to add different combinations of coins to make an amount. Ms. Chetna had reminded students to be ready with coins of various denominations. She told a story and students had to share the coins which would sum to the amount mentioned. As the story progressed students used various combinations to present an amount. Those who didn't have coins were suggested to draw. 

Sequencing

Ms. Chetna guided us to write how our day was during the offline sessions yesterday. She explained by sharing her example and gave us time to write. She emphasized using sequence words and being mindful about the word choice. We will share this writing tomorrow in class.
