Practise!

Morning meeting 

One of the students was feeling very bad about his laptop not working well and obstructions he faced while connecting to the sessions. We tried to make him feel better by discussing about letting go the things/situations which are out of our control. 

Unit celebration

Ms. Vajravani joined the session as she wanted to discuss about PE integration in the unit celebration. She worked in a breakout room with some students, so we took this opportunity to clarify doubts and share thoughts about the upcoming event. 

Addition 

We started with playing bingo. Ms. Chetna shared the link to an online game which we could play individually to practice addition. After this she shared screen to display a problem based on adding a single digit number to a 3-digit number. We worked in breakout rooms with Ms. Chetna and Ms. Laila to solve and share the process/ strategy. After coming back to the main session, Ms. Chetna shared another problem, this time we had to add a two digit number to a 3-digit number. She suggested all of us to try using base 10 blocks. While working in the breakout rooms we realised that some of us are confused with adding with regrouping. When back in the main session, Ms. Chetna shared the steps to add with regrouping using base 10 blocks. Students confirmed having understood, however we will continue practicing. Ms. Chetna suggested us to choose any 3 digit numbers and practice adding them to any 2 digit numbers of our choice during the day.

Reminders

We will sow seeds tomorrow. Materials required: empty pot, fenugreek seeds and soil.
